As I prepare for the grand opening of Fae, Flower & Stone, I want to share one of the most beautiful and inspirational writings about meditation that I've ever encountered. This deck feels like a book of fine art and moving poetry to me. During times of transition, when I need faith to move forward, I turn to cards like these. They don't tell me my fortune or what is going to happen, but they help me feel divinely supported by the Universe.
The Essence of Meditation
As the "Illumination" below states: "Meditation is no luxury—it is my soul's food and drink." I have come to believe this wholeheartedly. This belief drives me to share various active meditation techniques through my products and experiences. I hope you will enjoy the excerpt from this particular card I drew this year.

This being is in meditation out in the wild beyond, yet deep within her own being. She holds a burning bundle of herbs, its smoke cleansing and clearing the human worlds all the way from her interdimensional home. She embodies all the gifts of the natural world—the flowers and the herbs—and she offers you their secrets and gifts today.
Finding Stillness
In this stillness, amidst this beauty, she holds the space for you to enter when you are ready. You, too, can break away from the dominant reality, which is often a lie, and enter into the truthful song of the spirit once again.
Take a moment today to carve out a piece of time that you can claim for your own. Remove yourself for several long, precious moments from the clamor and din of ego, competition, rush, and hurry. Sink into the earthy realness of the land.
Opening Your Inner Eyes
In this moment, open up the eyes that lie within you. Find your way along the pathways of spirit and safely travel there, surrounded by the cleansing, clearing smoke from the sacred bundle of magical herbs.
Explore the expanding nature of your soul, its infinite light and possibilities. Spend a little while there, reminding yourself of who you truly are. In this way, you will knit yourself together again.
The Healing Power of Meditation
The pain of expectations, pressure, and the physical dimension will ease for a time. You will return refreshed and whole, with love guiding you. By doing this, you will stay close to your own inner truth. The pain of dissonance will slowly decrease until it is no more.

Active meditation can take many forms. It can include walking, dancing, or even engaging in creative activities. Each method allows you to connect with your inner self while remaining grounded in the present moment.
Walking Meditation
