Our formulations never include harmful preservatives commonly found in mainstream skincare products such as parabens (methylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben), formaldehyde releasers (DMDM hydantoin, diazolidinyl urea, imidazolidinyl urea), BHA/BHT, phenoxyethanol, and benzalkonium chloride. We also avoid other harmful commonly found skincare ingredients including phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), petrochemicals (mineral oil, petrolatum, paraffin), synthetic fragrances, ethoxylated ingredients (PEGs, polysorbates), silicones (dimethicone, cyclomethicone), synthetic colors/dyes, and DEA/MEA/TEA compounds. Additionally, we exclude environmentally damaging ingredients such as microplastics (polyethylene beads), oxybenzone and octinoxate (coral reef-harming UV filters), palm oil from unsustainable sources, EDTA (non-biodegradable chelating agent), quaternary ammonium compounds, and nanoparticles that can harm aquatic ecosystems.

All our airless pumps can be cleaned, reset, and reused after the product is finished, and our glass jars and bottles are both reusable and recyclable. We're committed to protecting our planet and its creatures as well. We never use ingredients harmful to our oceans, and we maintain a strict no-animal-testing policy—we test only on willing human friends and family. We have found innovative ways to recycle all bubble wrap, plastic sheets, ziplock bags, and produce bags. We compost all unused plant material, returning it to the soil for growing other plants.
