Our formulations never include harmful preservatives commonly found in mainstream skincare products such as parabens (methylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben), formaldehyde releasers (DMDM hydantoin, diazolidinyl urea, imidazolidinyl urea), BHA/BHT, phenoxyethanol, and benzalkonium chloride.
We also avoid other harmful commonly found skincare ingredients including phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), petrochemicals (mineral oil, petrolatum, paraffin), synthetic fragrances, ethoxylated ingredients (PEGs, polysorbates), silicones (dimethicone, cyclomethicone), synthetic colors/dyes, and DEA/MEA/TEA compounds.
Additionally, we exclude environmentally damaging ingredients such as microplastics (polyethylene beads), oxybenzone and octinoxate (coral reef-harming UV filters), palm oil from unsustainable sources, EDTA (non-biodegradable chelating agent), quaternary ammonium compounds, and nanoparticles that can harm aquatic ecosystems.
